Driving Interest in CareerAdvance: Insights & Implications from Interviews with CAP Families
This 2Gen Toolbox is a growing collection of resources developed by Ascend Fellows and Ascend Network partners — pioneering two-generation leaders and organizations working to create opportunities for and meet the needs of children and the adults in their lives together.
With the generous permission of the Ascend Network and Fellows, we are making these models, case studies, tools, and other materials available. Our goal for the Toolbox is to facilitate learning, adoption, and scale of two-generation approaches.
Unless otherwise noted, these materials were not authored by Ascend at the Aspen Institute. Ascend reviews the materials for relevance before posting; however, inclusion in the Toolbox does not signify Ascend’s unqualified endorsement. See criteria for inclusion.
We welcome feedback on these tools. We will continue to add to these resources and hope you find them valuable.
The CAP Tulsa team engaged GMMB to understand how current marketing and communications efforts are working together to drive interest and identify opportunities to inform future waves of recruitment. Over the course of three days in July 2017, the GMMB team spoke with parents participating in the CareerAdvance® program, parents who have not heard about the CareerAdvance® program and educators and support staff who work in CAP Tulsa early childhood education centers. The interviews were designed to explore and identify interrelated factors that enable or hinder interest and enrollment. September 2017.Download
