CAP Tulsa and Family & Children’s Services worked together to build the Family Success Plan (FSP). The FSP is used by Family Support Specialists to drive a conversation with families that helps the Specialist get to know the family, helps the family identify strengths and areas for improvement, and helps the family set goals. This conversation takes place soon after the family becomes enrolled in CAP Tulsa’s early childhood education program. The family and Specialist complete the document together, and the family determines where they are on each scale. Specialists follow up to coach families and track progress.
