Lucy Gibson is a program associate for the Aspen Family Prosperity Innovation Community at Ascend at the Aspen Institute. She is enthusiastic about health and well-being, particularly for young people. Prior to working at Ascend, she edited the first volume of policy proposals for the Economic Strategy Group (ESG) at the Aspen Institute.
Before joining the Aspen Institute, she was on the launch team and later the Assistant General Manager of Squash on Fire, a new sports club in Washington, D.C. There, she focused on marketing, operations, front desk staffing, inventory management, and guest services. She also coached girls’ high school squash and has been a freelance editor since 2015.
Lucy, who is a D.C. native, graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Psychology. She enjoys racquet sports, painting, working with high schoolers, and writing.
