Marni Morse is a Program Associate at Ascend at the Aspen Institute. She assists with research and writing projects. Prior to joining Ascend, she worked with the Aspen Institute’s Justice and Society Program (JSP), supporting the program as it explored the meaning of justice and how a just society ought to balance fundamental rights with the exigencies of public policy. With JSP, she planned programming, assisted with development efforts, and led communications outreach.
Previously, Marni worked as a research assistant to professors and interned at the National Women’s Law Center, on the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, and on Capitol Hill. Outside of the office, she leads civic engagement trainings with local volunteer organizations.
Marni graduated from Princeton University in 2017 with a degree in politics and minors in values in public life (ethics) and gender studies. She is an avid supporter of the arts and theater, loves to bake, and, as a DC native, loves to spend time outside along the C&O Canal.
