Veronica McLaughlin is the executive assistant for the managing director of Ascend at the Aspen Institute. Veronica ensures the highest level of effectiveness, efficiency, and synergy in the managing director’s office from scheduling, administration and travel, to strategic management/coordination of internal and external priorities and deliverables are achieved.
Prior to joining Ascend in 2013, Veronica had over 20 years of diverse experience supporting senior executive services government civilians, military officers, and private industry C-Suite personnel. For seven years, she was a defense contractor at the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology and the Missile Defense Agency.
