The Power and Potential of Two-Generation Approaches

On July 23 – 24, 2012, in Austin, Texas, Ascend co-hosted the third in its series on Two-Generation Strategies, "Convening on Two-Generation State and Local Policies," which followed the October 2011 roundtable, “Two-Generation Strategies in Education.”

On February 15th, 2012, Ascend at the Aspen Institute launched its inaugural class of Ascend Fellows.

As part of the Aspen Institute event series "Building the Economy We Want: Aspen Asks What Will it Take?" featured discussants considering what is needed to build a better economy for women.

On October 14, 2011, Ascend hosted the second in its roundtable series on Two-Generation Strategies, "Two-Generation Strategies in Education," which followed the program's launch in March 2011.

On March 29th, Ascend hosted its first Roundtable at the Aspen Institute, welcoming field innovators, philanthropists, and leading researchers to breakthrough ideas and proven strategies for moving parents, especially women, and their children beyond poverty.
