Announcing: 2019-20 Ascend Impact Series

May 20, 2019 |

We are proud to announce the Ascend Impact Series: stories and stats that illustrate the powerful, tangible impact a two-generation (2Gen) approach can have in building prosperity and opportunity for families.

These stories and quantitative proof points will contribute to the growing 2Gen evidence base, including recent research on CAP Tulsa, which found that the 2Gen program CareerAdvance® reduces chronic absence among the most disadvantaged Head Start families – in particular, the families with lowest levels of income, lowest levels of optimism, and highest levels of psychological distress.

The Impact Series builds on last year’s Solutions Series, which focused on providing concrete, actionable solutions for practitioners and policymakers that want to incorporate a whole family approach to their work. It will be published through 2019 and into 2020. Stories to-date are listed below.
