Adam Parker is the senior convenings manager for Ascend at the Aspen Institute. In this role he plans and manages convenings for the 2Gen Practice portfolio teams, advises on Postsecondary Success for Parents Initiative convenings, and manages Ascend convening processes and procedures.
Prior to joining Ascend, he worked as the associate director for special events and event technology at the Center for American Progress. In this role he produced a variety of in-person and virtual events across the country, and coordinated the organization’s event technology and production strategy. Adam previously worked for the Natural Resources Defense Council and started his career as a sound designer and audio engineer for theater productions and live events.
Adam is originally from Westchester County, New York and graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in Political Science.
