Elizabeth Newton

Elizabeth Newton is a married grandmother raising her twin 10 year-old granddaughters in Fort Collins, Colorado. As a member of the Colorado Department of Human Services Family Voice Council, Elizabeth is a voice and advocate for other grandparents raising grandchildren and advocates for programs to help low income families of Colorado. Newton was inspired to join the Family Voice Council by the opportunity to speak for those who can not advocate for themselves and to demonstrate. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her granddaughters, cooking, doing yoga and meditation.
