Evelyn Ramos, an immigrant from Mexico and has lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico since 2006. She is a mother of two beautiful daughters. Evelyn was introduced to Partnership for Community Action through the Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors program in 2015. Shortly after completing the program, she began to volunteer and became a program facilitator. Being part of Partnership for Community Action has helped Evelyn grow as a person and a mother. She’s learned to advocate for her rights and for the rights of her community, becoming a strong and capable leader.
