Kevin Ryder is a disabled veteran and a stay-at-home dad who cares for two active boys age seven and nine years old. His oldest child is 27 years old. His kids have aged out of programming in Colorado such as Parents As Teachers (PAT) and Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY). However, Kevin finds himself putting the skills learned in these programs to work in other roles as a community leader. Kevin is an alumni of the Colorado Department of Human Services Family Voice Council and have been a steering committee member for the department’s Colorado Fatherhood program.
