Stephanie Brueck-Cassoli is the senior program manager for Ascend at the Aspen Institute, where she focuses on advancing two-generation (2Gen) approaches nationwide through management of the growing Ascend Network.
Prior to joining Ascend in 2024, Stephanie worked at Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath) in Boston, Massachusetts. During her time at EMPath, Stephanie oversaw its first intergenerational economic mobility coaching program and subsequently led all content development and delivery to its global learning network. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the Boston College School of Social Work where she also was Adjunct Faculty, teaching courses on the Neurobiology of Stress & Resilience as well as Family Therapy.
Stephanie recently moved back to Washington, DC with her husband and two children after a decade away from the area. She is thrilled to be back, to take advantage of all that DC has to offer, and to take it all in through the eyes of her young children.
