Los Angeles Valley College 2Gen Toolkit: Module 2 2Gen Services

Module 2 of Los Angeles Valley College’s 2Gen Toolkit focuses on 2Gen services. This module defines a 2Gen approach and provides examples of how the approach has been implemented at LAVC, including playgroups; special needs referrals; a Saturday Dad Activity Group; family picnics and social events; community service events and group volunteering; and a study lounge with drop-in play. Ideas to support implementation of 2Gen services are also offered like student parent supervised and organized programming and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
