‘1 in 5’ Episode 6: Meet Angelina Kerry
Angelina is a mentor with Jeremiah Program in Boston, and a former participant herself. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, and has recently gotten married. She is passionate about giving back to her community and guiding other mothers to push toward their goals.
Angelina Kery is the mother of a 14-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son. She graduated from Endicott College in 2019 with a Bachelors in Psychology. In the same year, she graduated from the Jeremiah Program, and is now a mentor to other moms who are also student parents.
Angelina currently works as a Legal Assistant at a civil litigation firm. She admits it is very challenging to juggle work, school, and family all at the same time, but knows how rewarding it is to be able to accomplish her goals, whether it’s obtaining a degree, getting a job, and more. She believes parents can set a great example for their children by showing resilience when faced with challenges.
