Savannah Steiger is originally from the small town of Apalachicola, FL, but now lives in an even smaller town – Harrington, ME. She lives “off-grid,” in the woods with her husband and their two children.

Michaela Martin was born and raised in rural Oregon. Michaela is passionate about the economic and educational advancement of families and continues advocating to foster pathways of success for others.

Jesus Benitez works as the Mentor Coordinator for CUNY Fatherhood Academy focusing on helping young fathers pursue an HSE diploma and enroll in college with the understanding that earning a college degree is the most effective path toward providing long-term economic sustainability for themselves and their families. Jesus also works as an Educational Case Manager for the Center for Immigrant Education and Training (CIET) which supports immigrants with low incomes and their families in becoming lifelong learners and independent, contributing citizens of New York City.

Waukecha Wilkerson is a single mother of 13-year-old and 4-year-old sons and a 6-year-old daughter. She graduated from Coastline Community College in the Spring of 2020 with two associate degrees in psychology and social and behavioral science. She is a current student at Sacramento State University, pursuing a B.A. degree in psychology.
