Savannah Steiger is a single mother to two children living in rural Maine. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine at Machias in 2022 with a degree in Psychology and Community Studies, two minors in Applied Psychology and Counseling and a Maine Health and Rehabilitation Certificate. Currently she works for Sunrise Opportunities Prevention Council where she provides parenting education and supports to Hancock and Washington Counties. Savannah has also been a member of her local elementary school’s school board since 2021. Savannah has also applied for her Masters in Counseling with plans to pursue her LCSW and further to continue working in rural Maine communities. When she’s not parenting or working you can find her paddle boarding with her kids and dogs.
