Christopher Jones is Principal at Catalyst Policy Group, where he brings deep experience in health care policy, Medicaid, public systems, and strategy to support stronger outcomes for individuals and families.
Previously, Chris served as Senior Advisor to the Administrator for Medicaid at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. He also served as a Senior Fellow and Vice President for Healthcare Policy at the Cicero Institute and as Commissioner of the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services. In that role, he helped oversee services including Medicaid, children and family services, economic assistance, behavioral health, disability services, and the state’s public behavioral health system.
Earlier in his career, Chris served as Division Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Catholic Health Initiatives. He also held roles as a manager, director, and analyst in CHI’s Strategy and Business Development function and worked as a consultant for Allina Health System and Vizient. He earned his MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis and holds undergraduate degrees in health care administration and Scandinavian studies from Concordia College.
